Mr. Motsinger was recently chosen by GLE as the 2015 Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Attorney of the Year and Ms. Carpenter as the 2015 Commercial Lending Attorney of the Year in the state of Indiana. Both were awarded this designation after GLE conducted its extensive nomination and research process considering client testimonials, key cases, legal rankings, overall reputation, publication contributions, speaking engagements and the performance and standing of teams and individual lawyers.
Mr. Motsinger’s experience in creditors' rights, bankruptcy and commercial law spans more than 30 years. He chairs the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. Mr. Motsinger is certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Attorneys and was the 2011 Chair of the Board of Directors of that organization, of which he now is an Emeritus Director. He has represented creditors, debtors and investors in litigation and bankruptcy cases throughout the United States.
Ms. Carpenter is a member of the firm's Commercial and Real Estate Lending Practice Group. Her practice is devoted primarily to commercial lending, banking, real estate, corporate finance, and general corporate matters. She has over 25 years-worth of experience in commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured lending, construction lending, letters of credit, leveraged acquisitions, real estate financings, subordinated financings, alternative energy financings and ESOP transactions which require financing.
